Hi, my name is Rose, and I'm the designer behind Tonbo Curios Design. I've always loved making things, and I especially like making useful things that are also creative and fun to look at. I fell in love with foundation paper piecing when I decided to make myself a quilt and stumbled on Fandom in Stitches. One of their quilt layouts is called a bookcase quilt, with quilt blocks resembling objects on a bookshelf. Since I'm a librarian, I immediately decided to make one of those, filled with things that I like. Then I realized some of the fandoms I wanted to include didn't have blocks on FiS yet, so I started to design my own, and the rest is history.

If you have any questions about my designs, would like to chat about quilting, or would like to show me something you've made, feel free to send me a message. I'd love to hear from you!
